Starbucks launches new NFT project

“Starbucks, the renowned coffee giant, is making its mark in the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with its latest collection, “Green Apron.” This NFT series pays tribute to the evolution of Starbucks’ iconic apron, from its original Pike Place design to the beloved Siren apron, symbolizing the brand’s legacy over 50 years.
Scheduled for launch on August 1, 2023, on the Nifty Gateway NFT marketplace, the “Green Apron” collection will feature 5,000 Stamps, each minted on the Polygon Blockchain, with a price of $100 per NFT. Starbucks Odyssey program members will enjoy early access at 4 PM UTC, while the general public can explore the collection starting at 7 PM UTC.
Starbucks has previously tasted success in the NFT world with its “Siren Collection,” which sold out within an incredible 20 minutes, and “The First Store,” celebrating the inaugural Starbucks store at Seattle’s Pike Place Market in 1971.
With “Green Apron,” Starbucks continues to showcase its brand narrative through digital collectibles, inviting curious buyers to experience the artistry and heritage behind the world-famous green apron.
